Defense Ribbon: Members that join the 5th Ranger Infantry
Battalion (RS) Inc. are authorized to wear an American Defense
ribbon, as long as they are a member in good standing, above
the left upper pocket and below the EIB. |

Distinguished
Service Ribbon: Members that have been cited for outstanding
and extremely meritorious service to the unit are authorized
to wear the Distinguished Service ribbon, above the left
upper pocket and below the EIB. All personnel recommended
for this award by a third-party member will be reviewed
by their Company and/or Battalion CO. |

Good
Conduct Ribbon: Members that have been active within the
unit for at least one (1) year since formal induction AND
their first event where another member or members were present
with no disciplinary problems, are authorized to wear the
Good Conduct ribbon, above the left upper pocket and below
the EIB. |
|
Legion
of Merit Ribbon: Members that have attended at least twenty
(20) events as a unit member in good standing are authorized
to wear the Legion of Merit ribbon above the left upper
pocket and below the EIB. |
|
ETO
Campaign Ribbon: Members that have attended at least one
(1) D-Day Invasion event where they were under fire and
participated in a Naval landing are authorized to wear the
ETO Campaign ribbon, above the left upper pocket and below
the EIB. |
|
Combat
Medical Badge: Medical members that have attended at least
two (2) events where they were under fire while tending
to the wounded (i.e. Public battles & Tacticals) are
authorized to wear the Combat Medical Badge, above the left
upper pocket. |
